PRIVATE LESSONS

BENEFITS

A one-on-one private yoga session allows for in-depth attention to your needs. Put yourself first with a personalised Hatha, Chair, Gentle Somatic, Somalates or Restorative Yoga lesson

Tremendously helpful for those anxious about starting a yoga practice, private tuition from Susie may give you the confidence to get started in group classes, or we'll create a somatic sequence to relieve your mild aches, pains and stiffness

Bookings taken for chair yoga, Hatha + Restorative - not sure which you'd most benefit from? Check out each page on this site for a description, but in brief:

Chair Yoga suits those who'd prefer not to do mat yoga which necessitates getting up and down from the floor

Hatha yoga includes floor-based and standing poses + guided breathing + meditation

Gentle Somatic Yoga is a therapeutic movement practice to release back, front and side body muscle tension + improve posture

Restorative Yoga suits those needing deep rest. It's a still practice done on the floor with lots of props to encourage total relaxation while being guided through breathing exercises and meditation + a period of silence

Somalates is a remedial practice to bring balance in tension and strength between the front, back and sides of the body + to improve posture + for total body conditioning
