I've had an interest in movement and complementary medicine for 40 years. My career kicked off with training to be a cook, since then I've trained in massage, clinical aromatherapy, Bowen therapy and Yoga

Physically I've relieved my aches and pains through my yoga practice, improved my posture and understood the importance of slowing down for my personality type. Yoga has helped me build resilience and lifts my spirits when life gets tough

 

My yoga classes are influenced by my background as a massage therapist as much as by my yoga teacher training. My Gentle and General classes involve a comprehensive warm-up, moving into poses to strengthen core muscles (abs, hips, back) and improve posture before a delicious bit of time in Savasana with guided relaxation 

 

My aim is to create a practice for my students that is relaxing, remedial and restorative to the mind, body and soul
